Following on from the dinosaurs quilt I made for Freddie, I wanted to see if I could make pet portraits out of fabric and fabric painting. Again, I used the Inktense pencils I had used previously for fabric colouring see sewing a picture.

I never did get a picture of these two Beagles finished. So it’s a work in progress photo to remind me of the effort. I had another go with a completely black dog called Sasha and this is the finished picture:

Black dogs are very tricky to paint for me, as are white dogs. The Beagles turned out better! If you want a pet portrait though contact me!
